Development trends and application of medical robotics on Robotics Conference
Dmitry Rogatkin, Chief of Medical Physics Research Laboratory at Moscow Regional Scientific and Research Clinical Institute named after M.F. Vladimirskiy (MRSRCI) joined team of Robotics Conference speakers.
Dmitry is a graduate of Moscow State Technical University, member of the editorial board of magazine "Medical Physics", member of Scientific and Technical Council of Russian Laser Association and director of Moscow branch of Research and Education Center "Biomedical Engineering" of Orel State Technical University.
Researcher says that for the last 5-7 years there has been heavy increase in reports of various projects for the creation of medical robots. A future where robots are working in hospitals, as well as numerous engineers for robots technical support is becoming more and more real.
At the conference, the speaker will deliver a lecture on "Robots in medicine: Problems of development and prospects".
Information provided from the standpoint of the consumer briefly outlines the emerging trends of medical robots development in the world, and shows the most interesting areas of their applications, forecasts the development of medical robots in our country in the coming years. The cases of a number of areas in medical robotics show the existing scientific, engineering and technical problems that developers of such robots will be facing. In particular, one of the most common problems will be discussed - lack of science-based methodological approaches to sensible formulation of specialized medico-technical requirements to such robots.
You can listen to Speaker’s report, learn about innovations in the field of medical robotics and beyond, visiting the conference to be held within the framework of the thematic exhibition Robotics Expo.
First Russian exhibition of robotics and advanced technology Robotics Expo 2013 will be held 24-25 October in ECC "Sokolniki".
See you at Robotics Expo!
