Comau shows how its robots assemble Maserati

Comau is the major Italian robot manufacturer. Currently, the company is included into Fiat Chrysler car conglomerate, supplying its factories with innovative robotics technologies. In particular, Comau manipulators are used to produce premium cars and such super cars as Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, and Maserati.
Recently, the company has published photos and video, showing robots’ everyday work at the Fiat Chrysler factory in Turin. The latter issues two upmarket car models: Maserati Quattroporte and Ghibli.
Manipulators conduct welding operations and detail assembling. Besides, they install various car components (body parts, brake hoses etc.).
