A novelty in the sphere of 3D printing – a tattooing robot
2016-08-30

French engineers Johan Da Silveira and Pierre Emm created a tattooing robot Tatoue using 3D printer. The machine looks quite scarily but the results of work are pleasantly surprising.
Today Tatoue is able to reproduce only simple drawings on skin. It can make neat and straight contours which is usually a problem for human masters.
Before the robot starts working a scanned area of skin is uploaded into the program. Then a 3D model of the surface is combined with the drawing and the robot comes into action. Before starting the machine it is important to fasten the body part with straps to avoid unpleasant consequences.
