The first working day of the robot bricklayer
2016-08-05

The robot bricklayer was introduced by the Australian company Fastbrick Robotics which named the project Hadrian X.
The robot does bricklaying much faster than a human: 1000 bricks per hour. With such high performance it is possible to build a house in 2-3 days.
Hadrian X features a 30 meter boom. Instead of traditional cement, Hadrian X uses a construction glue to increase thermal capacity of the building.
A house is built from a 3D projection of a drawing which is downloaded beforehand. The robot can also grind bricks.
