A British robot bartender pouring the perfect beer
There is a concept of a perfect pint of beer in British and Irish pubs. This is a way of pouring a malt beverage with a special balance between foam and the liquid itself. Bartenders even learn how to make it correctly. But now not only human bartenders master a secret technique but also a robot.
It was created by the students from the University of Leeds, on demand of Quality Bearings. The device looks like a rectangular platform. There is a stand for a glass on one side and a lever regulating beer flow – on the other. The robot operates with the lever by itself. You can see how it does it on the video below.
This Tuesday the device was installed in one of English breweries. Everyone can evaluate beer served by the robot.
