Meet the speakers of Robotics Expo 2016
On November 4-6, the best specialists in the sphere of robotics will gather in ECC Sokolniki to speak about advanced developments and achievements at Robotics Expo 2016 conference. Speakers will cover up-to-date topics related to the use of robots and automated systems in various business areas. There won’t be any boring reports during the conference – only live presentations, real cases and sound pieces of advice.
Robotics Expo conference has been sustaining its high international level for the fourth year in a row. And this time it will be attended by a leading industry expert, professor of Innopolis University, founder of Interactive Robots and Media Lab and developer of unique smart machines Nikolaos Mavridis. Speaker will tell about his latest works and development trends of robotics industry.
The topic of “Smart robots for smart factories” will be covered by another foreign guest of the conference – representative of Hong Kong-based company Robotics Insight, Michael Loughlin. In the course of the presentation speaker will provide examples of integrating robotic systems in the IoT ecosystem, tell how collaborative robots or CoBots, security standards, simplicity of programming and price formation influence the implementation of robotics, as well as what to wait from the combination of traditional robotics with cloud technologies, AI and Big Data.
Presentation on industrial robotics of past and present will be given by a representative of Japanese company YASKAWA Nordic AB, which specializes in the creation of Motoman robots, – Aleksandr Novoselov. Speaker will tell the story of the development of industrial robots, highlight the main spheres of their application, and the main development trends in this field.
Corporate services director at NUMA Moscow, Timofey Golovin, will cover the topic “How open innovations ecosystem helps in advancing the robotics technologies”. NUMA Moscow is the first large international technical hub in Russia that offers a beneficial acceleration program for local startups. Therefore, the lecture from company representative will be based on real cases.
Further, the conference will feature a presentation from Maxim Baskakov – brand manager at a famous company Robomow, which focuses on the production of smart grass mowers and other appliances. During his speech speaker will touch the folowing issue: what conditions are required for the development of robotic gardening appliances market?
And Maxim Gurbashkov, sales director at AVITON JSC, a company dealing with wholesale supply of the newest electric and electronic equipment, will tell about innovation technologies and components for robots.
Besides that, there will be a round table during the second half of the conference. This year, representatives of leading robotic companies will discuss the prospects of usage of machine vision and laser scanning systems, state-of-the-art industry trends and experience in implementation of machine vision. Among them are: CEO at ABB-Robotics Dmitriy Kainov, CEO at KUKA Robotics Dmitriy Kapishnikov, sales director at FANUC Aleksandr Yashkin, and analyst of the Russian Association of Robotics Alisa Konyukhovskaya.
